Restaurant Nyvågar is located along the quayside in beautiful, cozy, and historic surroundings on the outskirts of Kabelvåg, just 5 km from Svolvær. Our menu focuses on the unique diversity and offers a combination of authentic North Norwegian ingredients and international flavors. These delicacies are served in a tasteful and rustic atmosphere, along with the genuine hospitality that characterizes our region.

Our dedicated chefs are also passionate about exploring nature and gladly source ingredients, from seaweed to homemade jams of the highest quality.

In our Lofoten Loft Bar, you are welcome for a drink after dinner or to simply enjoy the view of the ocean with a glass in hand. We serve beer, wine and spirits and are proud to be able to present one of the world’s largest collections of aquavit – approx. 300 different varieties! Choose your samples from the collection or try our aquavit board with our recommendations. We also serve self-composed aquavit-based cocktails.
